Venue
The Largo Resort is not the typical island vacation resort. No beach rentals, life guards, or swim-up bar. While it lacks these amenities, it offers the most important factor: privacy. The resort consists of multiple houses, bungalows, and an airstream trailer that will all house only our wedding guests. We have rented the entire resort. There is a large common area with a bar and professional kitchen that will be used to feed us. It will be a jigsaw puzzle for Jen and Greg to figure out who rooms where. The earlier you RSVP, the quicker we can get started on this puzzle. Please RSVP through the tab above.
The resort does not serve any food, beverages, or alcohol. We will be providing it all. Rest assured that there will be no shortage of alcohol. Because it is BYOB, please include your preferred drink selections (beer, wine, booze, or otherwise) when you RSVP by navigating to the Drinks tab above.
Why Key Largo?
Jen spent many summers and holidays in the Keys with family when she was young. Greg spent a large portion of his graduate school and early professional years working in the Keys. The Keys hold a special place in our hearts.
We originally wanted to get married in Key West or Islamorada. However, the resort options available for full rent-outs are few, very expensive, or not accommodating of Spred the Dub, our wedding band and favorite local reggae/ska act (web link below). We discovered the Largo Resort and it checked all our boxes, as well as being a closer travel option considering nobody in attendance lives in the Keys. We are excited to meet everyone at the resort for a few days of relaxation and fun. BYOB will make things interesting . . . hopefully quite memorable.

Beach fabulous!!!
Think summer dresses, linen, comfortable footwear that allow dancing in the sand.
It's going to be hot and if you're not covered in sweat by the end of the night, you didn't do it right.
